What are the standard prerequisites for most PT schools? From what I have seen, it looks something like this:

Chem 1 year
Physics 1 year
Bio 1 year
Anatomy and Physiology 1 year
Psychology (2 courses)
Statistics

Are there any other requirements for the school you are applying to?

Yes, those are the standard prereqs for most schools. Some also require Exercise Physiology and others a Medical Terminology class. Also, for the Chem requirement, from what I've seen, some specifically want Organic Chem for the second semester.

To be safe, always check out the program description on PTCAS and the program's website (for both PTCAS and non-PTCAS).

I've always wondered, if one wanted to apply to more than one school - they'd have to do all the differing prereqs for every school they apply too? Here in California, we have 10 or 11 different schools - some requiring different classes... I see a lot of people applying to a lot more than one school...that seems like a huge headache!
