Just wondering if one is more appropriate than the other.

I've got to bump my applying class' AA thread 😉
oh sweet mother of crap...well, i guess this is better than the infamous "smile with teeth or no teeth showing in secondary pic" thread (yes, someone actually posted a thread debating that issue)
leechy said:True, but what if an adcom member pokes his/her finger on the pointy back part of a staple? You'd just be asking for a rejection. Of course, the same could very well happen with a paperclip. My suggestion is silly putty: no pokey parts whatsoever.
Call each school individually...the prefered method of attachment varies from school to school, and if you pick the wrong one your app goes straight to the shredder....some adcoms have a "Mommie Dearest--wire hanger" type reaction to paperclips/staples.

I will often suffer through that entire movie just to see that scene.ms2209 said:How about Elmer's glue? Sounds like a safe, non-poking alternative! 😀
leechy said:Ahhh, yes, Elmer's glue - a very rational, non-pokey alternative indeed, and certainly more cosmetically appealing than silly putty. But alas, those good looks come with a steep price: Elmer's great Achilles' heel - which it shares with its more dangerous cousin, the staple - is that it is non-removable. A weary adcom member might very well end up ripping your secondary apart in his quest to separate its pages. And so, the Great Debate continues, in both its pokey and non-pokeyfied versions - staple or paperclip? Elmer's or silly putty?
