I'm taking a science course this summer - human physiology (online). It's not one that is required by any med schools, but it'd be helpful to know as well as assist on the MCAT. The material isn't difficult, and I'd love to be handed a book and a test months from now and be done with it. However, all of these assignments... They're not hard, but just having to do them is time consuming and largely feel like "busy work." I'm thinking about what it would be like to feel this way over the next year, and it really isn't all that appealing. At this point I still have an end goal, but geez. Since I already had some background in this subject I felt it'd be a good way to rekindle my "learning mode" and getting used to sitting still doing school work, but I feel giddy. I keep wanting to get up and just run around doing random things despite really liking the subject matter.

Are you taking this course through an accredited school (university)? Will you receive college credit for it? If so, it can be applied to your science GPA, just make sure to take your actual prereqs on campus...from what I've heard it's not recommended that you take the pre-reqs online.

But I do think it is a great idea to get your feet wet in getting in that study mode and any education received is not a waste.

Best of luck :luck::luck::luck::luck:
