Just finished step1 (haven't gotten score back yet), and starting rotations.

1.) How should my approach to excelling in exams and wards differ from my strategy during basic sciences?

2.) When should I begin my prep for Step2? Does the FA+UW strategy remain sufficient for this?

3.) What books do I absolutely need during this stage? FA, Kaplan, Pocket Med, etc?

Basically, I'm trying to get solid advice since I joined these forums late.

Input is much appreciated!

1. Either use the search function or go to the clinical rotations subforum.

2. Stay here in the Step 2 CK forum and read the UWorld and Step 2 CK experiences.

3. Refer to answer 1.

Not trying to be a D bag, but since you are new, learning how to search and scour forums is a skill that will be helpful for you in the future.
