Starting pharmacy immunization program in California

Hi,

I was planning on starting an immunization program at my pharmacy and wanted to see if anyone had any experience with it? It seems like there are a lot of resources for finding standing orders and protocols,, but does anyone have any idea of how to approach a physician who will sign those orders?

You could do better for the profession by not recommending vaccines which do not work, are not necessary, not very effective and sometimes dangerous. But hey we sold out a long time ago and you might as well capitalize on this gov't instituted law. It's very bad for the populace when the gov't and corporations team up.

It is not too difficult...first off, I assume you have you already taken a qualifying immunization course?
As far as locating a physician, I would suggest talking to some you already fill Rx's for.

Do you cater to certain populations? That could be a good marketing angle....for instance,
one of the most profitable vaccines for pharmacies is Zostavax, since very few doctors have the necessary freezer
for storage.

What area in CA are you located? Let me know if you need any other advice.

There are plenty of examples of measles breaking out in fully vaccinated daycare centers. The vaccine is not effective and unnecessary. Try following the money. Politicians were well compensated by pharma to pass the law. Forty people went to Disney and supposedly contracted measles there and all recovered with no deaths or long term consequences. I'm certain the end of the world is coming soon. You just keep being a good capitalist and lead the sheep into your pharmacy. Tell them shingles is already inside them with a soft voice also.

So vaccines are not 100 percent effective (what medicine is?) and has a side effect for a very small population (what medicine isn't?) and the world is certainly coming to an end because government is encouraging it.
Is that because vaccines will cause a zombie outbreak?

With the passing of bill sb493 in ca, you may not need a protocol to give vaccinations soon or even now. If you registered for an NPI, pharmacist can or will be able to give vaccines using a acip recommendations. Check with bop.

Better stop dispensing meds all together! They all have side effects, must mean they're no good! And they don't cure my diabetes or hypertension 100%! Must mean they don't work.

40 people recovered from measles, why bother vaccinating at all? Measles is perfectly natural, we are weakening our immune systems with all these vaccines.
