I did list my new research experience, which began in May, on my AMCAS and AACOMAS, and explained my role in the lab. I have about 20 hours in the lab so far, which isn't much. This will be ongoing through May 2019, and my advisors expect a pub, so it'll become significant, but obviously there's nothing yet. I'm assuming I wouldn't include this on a CV since it's very fresh?

It would be hard for me to list something like this as you haven't really done anything yet and probably haven't gained any significant experience.

If you do feel like you want to include it, feel free to put it on there, say May 2018-Present and periodically update. I wouldn't mention anything on a future pub.

That's what I was thinking--thanks! I should add that this CV I'm currently updating is for some DO schools, many of which don't freak out too much if there's a lack of research. So I should be okay with just forgoing it, right?

It's fine to include in a CV as it is a current activity you are engaged in.
