Hi everyone

I will be starting a 4-year residency program in Anesthesia at Hamad Hospital in Qatar, and very excited to do so.

Just wanted to introduce myself as a newbe 😀 and welcome you all.

Currently Im reading baby Miller and hoping to know it cover to cover by this month. Do you have any further advices for me beside that !?

Thank you

Boy...I hope not all Anesthesiologists are too bored with their life :naughty:

It is probably because this question has been asked (and answered) many times before. A simple search would have given you lots of helpful info.

My general advice for residency is to: keep your head down, never shirk responsibility, help your fellow residents/be a team player, go home if someone tells you to go home, study hard, treat everybody with respect.

The farther I get, the more I realize that most of the things you need to succeed in residency (and life), you (should) have learned in kindergarten/grade school.

Yep. I have sympathy for someone who tries hard but still struggles academically. I have little tolerance for those who selfish and rude.
