Hello all, newbie here.
I have a question I was hoping I could get answered here. To start with, I'll be turning 32 this fall when I plan to start my first semester at a 2 year junior college. I've already sat down with an advisor there to make sure the classes I take will transfer into a 4 year university. All is good there. It is actually called a pre-med program at Trinidad State Junior College in Trinidad, CO. My plan is to get my AAS there and transfer into UCCS pre-med and finish my undergraduate studies there. My question is, would it look better in medical school interviews having a degree from a junior college and a university or a degree from a university alone? In other words, Should I start at UCCS pre-med and just skip JC or is JC an ok stepping stone?
Thanks in advance for any and all advice.
