hey everyone! I'm pretty new here and am applying this cycle. I'm pretty worried and got most of my apps in by mid-July. I was wondering when I should just start giving up on certain schools if they're already sending out II's to people who completed after me?
just so tired of refreshing my emails....thanks and good luck everyone!

Never give up. Only when you get the last rejection, then the app cycle is over.

Just relax, many schools don't review apps in chronological order. It'll be a long cycle, but don't give up hope till the very end. All of August, September, and October, prime II season is ahead of you!

Patience is a virtue, the need for instant gratification is not.

Schools stratify the apps as they come in and don't send out secondaries or IIs merely in chronological order.

Secondaries are often a tax on the hopelessly naïve, if not pathologically optimistic.

also life tip...get an email app and have your notifications set up to come up with the keyword interview. then you never have to neurotically check anymore
