I am a U.S. citizen who is interested in applying to medical schools, and I was wondering: Do schools classify applicants who are U.S. citizens but are not residents of any state as "international/without a state" or as "out-of-state" applicants? I saw that on AMCAS, there is an option to fill out "N/A" if you are not a resident of any state, and I was wondering if that would put me at a significant disadvantage compared to other applicants. Thank you so much!
