I recently saw a comment on this forum about state grants reducing the cost of tuition (at UC Davis, I think). The comment gave me the impression that most - if not all - UC Davis students received these grants.
Does anyone mind touching on this... What are these grants? Are they given to every student? Do students need to apply for them? Do most states offer these grants? If so, I presume it is safe to assume that OOS students do not benefit from state grants? How much do the grants reduce tuition?
