HA HA HA!!! Just joking. Which schools are confusing you? Some that I thought were state, but are actually private are:

NYU
Boston U
USC (I think)

Temple is private for sure. I think they say that because they might offer a lower tuition for PA residents, but dont take my word for it. As for the others...I'm not sure...

Here's a few that are private that haven't been mentioned:

Arizona
Loma Linda
UOP
USC

Yeah, Arizona is private. It is a part of the A.T. Still Health University system.

fo' sure. Residency plays no part in admissions.

Those private schools are godsends if you come from a state, like I did (Utah), that has no public school.

Other good privates for applicants are Creighton, Marquette, and Nova.
