Does anyone know anything bout this school? I'm planning on applying to this school and I didn't see anything weird on the school's website.

pretty tough to get into... some say harder than NYU...

well theres nothing weird about it, same ol same ol state school

Aside from somewhat harsh winters, the school is great. Your own chair for the duration of your stay. Students are happy. Good training. Relatively cheap standard of living compared to other major cities. In state tuition (which even out of state students can get in their first year under certain circumstances) is hard to beat. Thumbs up.

When I interviewed at Buffalo I was very impressed with the school. There are alot of positive features about the school such as class size, chair availability, patient pool, and of course...price! However, my biggest problem as well as some of the students already attending Buffalo is the location. Bad winters with alot of snow and depressing weather...you wont see much day light through out the year. Other than that the school is quite competative and has a very good program.

UB is definitely more difficult to get into than NYUSD. It is on par with other good state dental schools in its competitiveness.
