Is statistics important in step 1? Are there many questions in statistics or questions that require knowlegde of statistics?

Enough questions that you should have a basic understanding of how to interpret statements involving statistics and statistical principles.

are the last two chapters from brs behavior sci enough for answering the epi/stats questions? Is HY biostats needed? Or anything more?(i am very weak in stats/math)

Epi/stats will get you a few Qs, and it is well worth it to memorize & UNDERSTAND the formulas b/c they may ask the Qs in a straightforward or wierd way. THey are easy points that you DO NOT want to lose out on.
I believe the BRS behvioral is enough + FA for stats and epi, but make sure you UNDERSTAND it and not just memorize it. APPLICATION is KEY!
Also, don't forget to memorize the MC stuff and the age brackets which I believe are in FA. That stuff goes a long way....
