I'm thinking about mentioning statistics about the population in my area below the poverty level, but I'm not sure if i should or not. Is it good/bad to mention statistics in a personal statement? Will that make me seem more knowledgeable? or will I look like I'm trying to be a know-it-all and suck-up? Thanks for your thoughts!
