I am going to take either Stats or Microeconomics next semester. I'm going to have some difficult courses so I want to choose the one that will be easier and require less time. I'm thinking Micro will be easier but I would like to hear from people who've taken both. Thanks,

Ryan

micro is easier by far, and more useful i think. Although both classes will require you to spend time doing homework.

Definitely depends on the instructor. I took macroeconomics a few years back and had a tough time with it. I later took microeconomics (which I've heard is supposed to be more difficult than macro) and breezed right through. Go to ratemyprofessor.com and find a decent instructor!

My statistics class is the easiest thing I've ever taken in my whole college career. It's almost insulting, going from that class at 8 AM to Calc II at 10 AM. It's like going from kindergarten to 12th grade in 2 hours.

Micro was really easy.Dunno about statistic though....

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to go with microeconomics.
