So, are all you guys puttin' down those $1K per school (if not more) deposits? I know that some are lower. But, they are more expensive than allo schools. For some of you to have multiple acceptances, you'd be putting down the dough, eh?

Nova doesn't require it until December 14...

Yeah, LECOM-B doesn't require the deposit until Dec. 14th either. I hope to hear back from other schools by then so I only have to fork-out one deposit.

I have not been accepted yet, but I think I will be, so here are my stats:

I averaged 12 ppg and 8-9 rebounds per game as a senior in high school. Got some looks from very small colleges (likely as a non-scholarship player.... for whatever reason, nobody likes a 6'4" post player). I was also very close to leading the greater San Antonio area in free-throw percentage. I was money from the stripe. I also played in the shadow of an all-state point guard and all-state post, along with a stud freshman wing who was a lot better than me, and went on to play college ball.

No med school has asked for those numbers yet though.

ehhh.u have adequate role player stats.

those are solid numbers, but in my prime i put up more points.....

I was not a great high school player, but I was great in my role. I started some, came off the bench some, played defense about as well as an undersized post can, rebounded, passed, and hit open (and I do mean open) shots. My ability to play within myself made me a good role-player.

I played for Parks and Rec as a point guard, 10 ppg, 5 assists/game. But my true sport was football in high school(as you Americans call it Soccer, LOL). I scored 14 goals in my junior year.

But in NBA 2k7 I average about 28 ppg, 10 rpg, and 5 blocks with Yao Ming. My favorite player 😀. (and also 5 charges/game)

Thanks to those of you who actually posted valuable information. I now am aware of the MDapplicants website. Thanks again. I wish everyone well.

People, let me remind you (some of you yet again) that if you want to discuss sports, take it to the lounge. Constantly derailing threads is not permitted.

Now can we get back to the OP's original intent of this thread.

Sorry. I'm a kinesiology guy. For me, sports = school. Sometimes it just slips out.

1. GPA : 3.19

2. Biochemistry B.S.
3. MCAT: 35 M :hardy:

4. Yes to alot of extracurriculars/ yes to work experience/ yes to research.

Got in KCUMB, have an interview with NYCOM, after getting into KCUMB, I don't really want to fill out the other supplementals , I feel guilty that it would just be a waste of money.

I have applied to allopathic schools, however I haven't had an interview yet.

Very nice MCAT score! Just goes to show those with low GPAs, hope is not lost; other parts of your application that shine can help draw away attention from just grades. Congratulations.

hey thanks. Yea I guess the high mcat score showed them my strong desire to pursue medicine. I wish I would get some interviews from allopathic schools as well though after I spent so much money into applying for them, it seems like a waste of money if I don't get atleast one interview from an allopathic school.

So...How about those Cubs. Oops! Sorry Shy. For all of those who have been accepted and for all of those who will, congrats!!!!
