Does anybody know a good resource where they have current, up-to-date average stats of the most recent entering class of all the dental schools? Is there a good source online, or a book of some sort? I would like to try to predict what sort of shot I have at which schools. Thanks!

try the websites of the schools you're interested in. i think there might be a book also, but i'm not sure.

Most schools give you old stats, but I bet if you call admissions they would help you out with that.

This list is from 2002 but I am pretty sure things haven't changed that drastically.

The ADEA puts out a book every year called the Official Guide to Dental School. I called them about it last week and they said they last updated it this past June. It has some good stats in it like # of students that each school accepted from in state and out of state, along with other stuff. I haven't gotten mine yet, but one of my friends had an old one that I looked through and had information about tuition and programs. You should still look at the school websites, but it's nice to have all that information condensed into one book from a reputable resource. The only thing is you have to buy it from them on their website because amazon didn't have it last time I checked. It's $35. 🙂
