Also, there are two "status" sections that are new to me ("Status of Supplemental Materials" and "Status at Designated Schools"). Are anybody updated? Or is it mostly for show?

The status at designated schools tells you where they are with your app. Right now only 1 school says anything in that section for me, Nova. It says "Received/Waiting Additional Information" but this was from the 29th of July and they've since cashed my check.
