I know this might seem stupid but I just submitted my application when will I be able to update my status??

What do you mean update your status? If you mean the Academic Update period, I think that opens up later in the year. You can add summer and fall grades at that time.

Well in the email I got it said that I need to check up and refresh and update the statuses..or something like that...are they just talking about updating gpa, transcripts, LOE, etc....?

That's their job. You don't update anything until later in the year, when they allow you to revise some of your grades. If you've submitted your app, you're done for now. Just login and check your application on daily bases to make sure:
1-They have received your transcripts.
2-They have verified your GPA.
3-They have received your LORs.
4-They have mailed out your application.

Note that any of the above will take quite some time. For example you might rush your transcripts, but it may take 2-3 weeks before they show up on AADSAS, since they need to enter all the information for all the applicants who are applying at the same time as you.

Well I just submitted last night....and they have 3/3 Tran, and 2/2 LOR...so i guess now im sitting pretty 🙂
