i have 11 schools that say "recieved/under review" which have been like that for months

is there a decreased chance of admission during the second round of interviews? or are the odds about the same?

I'm on the same boat as you buddy. Still waiting for 11 more responses... haven't even heard anything from any in-state (California) schools. My application was considered complete in September. 😡

I would say that since the adcoms are looking for the same type of student after dec 1st that they were looking for before dec 1st, your chances of getting an interview are about the same..unless your stats change drastically.

However, since they have already filled alot of the available seats, there are less to go around, and thus its more competitive.

I think overall, it is harder to get in because the later it gets, the less seats are available.

I'm in the same boat and I'm not even sure what's holding me back from an interview.

I'm a Canadian Student and was wondering if the schools tell you why they're not giving you an interview? Like which part of your app is weak?

Nope. They don't. If you get rejected you can call and ask for advice..I don't know how good the advice they give you is.
