To all of you who are studying for the OAT, keep your head up. At times it seems really difficult, but you need to stick with it and study hard. I sacrificed almost 2 months and recieved the scores I needed. TS 360 and AA 340 (got a 400 in OC).

Things to know: Kaplan is much harder, don't over look the importance of timing yourself, go over as many practice questions as possible, don't overlook the reading comp., and pick up strategies.

I used lots of material and found it to be extremely useful. PM me if your interested in purchasing them or need tips for the OAT.

I'm going crazy with the Kaplan Physics and QR. I feel like I really understand the physics and QR concepts but their problems take forever and seem way to indepth and unnecessary...which makes me feel like I don't know anything haha.

Don't you worry. I scored ~300 on Kaplan Physics and got a 380 on the real one. You will do fabulous.

The QR at first was driving me crazy, but after you use the strategies it gets better. However, physics is just nuts, I would take a practice test do horrible, then go over the solutions, and say to myself "Oh ya, that makes sense." Then I'd take the next practice test and either get the same score or improve slightly. Just go over the solutions and make sure you understand what you did wrong or right. Do as many practice questions as you can whether you do well or not. After awhile, it'll get there. The actual OAT is not as difficult. I was actually scoring 280-300 on the kaplan and ended up with a 350. GOODLUCK!

I don't think any of the questions on the actual test require in depth or tedious calculations. If you really understand the concepts, gauge your knowledge with the opted test and expect similar results

Everyone has their weakness. For me, it was Physics. I could never have enough time with the Physics portion. I'm a logical person, so QR turned out pretty good during the test. Not so much Physics 👎
