I know things are still a long way off from being clinically useful, but it's finally been set in motion--anybody else kinda geeked up about this?!😀 To practicing attendings, what role do you think PM&R will play?

I think it sounds very cool. One thing that struck me in their design is that, why are they picking surgeons to inject the stem cells? I'm making the assumption that they're talking about C and high T-spine injuries. In which case, I didnt think ortho spine or (more likely at those levels) neurosurg often did much handywork with pokers.
