Hello all members, would really appreciate your help.
Im an IMG, about to start studying for the step 1 and am currently facing a dilemma.
Most people who ive talked to when starting with kaplan lecture notes seem to go subject by subject, as in read biochem, then physio, micro/imm/ patho etc. or in whatever order, but for me i was considering studying them system based just as its provided in first aid, as in when im reading the heart in anatomy, do its physio, patho, pharma etc, but some people say its better to develop a stronger core of concepts by just reading physio in its entirety/biochem in its entirety etc. Not only do i think system based is better to learn, but also itll be less boring to read an entire subject at once. Some subjects like biochem/biostats etc. have to be read on their entirety as they cannot be correlated with other subjects in patho i guess, so please tell me what you guys think.

Do what you think is best for you.

Following the FA format works. Eventually, you'll integrate concepts into all of the organ systems. For example, there's no way to get through renal without a solid physio foundation.

I see, so thats what im saying, if i read renal anatomy from kaplan, then kaplan renal physio, and goljan path for example, that seems like id develop better undertanding, and clinical and overall subject correlation than reading anatomy all at once, and then later on readying physio all at once
