Hi guys,
I'm taking the boards at the end of July and although I hate to admit it, I feel totally lost on how to prepare. Any advice on how to how to make a schedule, what books to buy and how many hours to read (versus doing questions) would be greatly appreciated! I'm planning on spending 3 to 5 days on Micro, but I don't know how I'm going to get through all of Medical Microbiology Made Ridiculously Simple in that time. Thanks for the advice!!!

There's a lot of threads here and I know it's hard to go through them. I did that during my christmas break. I recommend using the search function and then specifying the STEP 1 section. This helped me a lot. Sometimes I ran into some problems or some threads where I felt there wasn't a definitive answer (Because there isn't!) and that was when I would post a thread with my questions.

I'll try to get my review of the whole experience and what books helped and what didn't sometime this week or next.
