Hello all, long time reader first time poster 😛 , I am currently studying for step 2 ck and I was going to take it in 2 weeks however I scored a 183 on nbme form 4 this week. 2 weeks ago I scored the same thing on NBME form 2. And a Month ago I scored a 189 on the UWSA. I am currently going through UW for the second time and I wrote all my notes into Step up to Step 2. I have postponed my exam and would like to hear from all of you as to what you think I should add to my studying schedule before I take the exam in 1 month.

I appreciate all your help.

Umm, I haven't taken the test yet myself (only started studying about a week ago), but IMHO I'd advice you to delay it even more until you get a NBME score of at least 200. You don't want to risk the chances of failing.

I am a huge fan of Secrets (shout out to kissmyasthma for recommending it!). It helped consolidate the mindnumbing amount of info into an easy read. I was using UW along with MTB and SUTM previously and felt like I was all over the place. Hope this helps. Good luck!!

obviously, you need to look at your nbme feedback forms and read an extra book for the subjects you're weakest in. step up to step 2 aint gonna cut it and your practice are definitely puts you at risk for failing the exam; at our school, they say people improve 30-40 pts w/ 1 month dedicated study, but seems like you havent improved in the month that you've been studying.. you should probably take 1-2 months extra time; better passing it first time

I am a believer that you should score 20 points higher than your absolute minimum acceptable score whatever it may be before taking the test.

Your goal may be a 220, but if you can live with a 200, make sure you get a 200 on at least one practice in that case.
