STEP 2 CK further studying after Secrets + UWORLD

Hey guys,

I am an IMG from Germany, I took my German Step 2 two years ago and had to study last year again for my oral exam. I took my Step 1 on 2012.

Rigt now I have been studying part time since September-October for my CK on the 31. March. So far I have worked through the Secrets, watched Kaplan CK videos for my weak areas (unfortunately quite old, 2007) and did around 2/3 of UWORLD with an average of 75%.

I am going to start studying full time now. I intend to read through MTB and review the UWORLD as well as do a practise test.

My questions:

1. What else should I do during these last 6 weeks? Do you think another QBANK is reasonable and doable? Or just review?
2. What practise test do you recommend?

I would definitely do some NBMEs to gauge how ready I am. then I would focus on doing UW another time, specially on sections which my NBME shows that I'm weak. if you feel you need to expose to more questions on specific subject, it's wise to do CMS . Good luck! 😉
