I printed out my Step 2 CS/CK scheduling permits and it said I need to bring my "confirmation letter" with me also.

What is this? The email they sent me when I first signed up?

this is a copy of hte email they sent me for CS:

Name:
Reference ID:
USMLE ID:

YOUR STEP 2 CLINICAL SKILLS (CS) SCHEDULING PERMIT IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR YOU TO PRINT.

Please note: You will NOT receive an orange scheduling permit in the mail for the Step 2CS examination.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PRINTING YOUR SCHEDULING PERMIT: Go to the NBME Licensing Examination Services page of the NBME website at https://external1.nbme.org/interactive/, log on to your account, go to the Exam Status screen, and click on the Permit Sent Date to access your permit.

Review your Scheduling Permit for instructions on how to schedule an appointment to take the examination.

For the latest information about Step 2 CS, test center locations and travel guides, calendar of test dates, availability of results and test scheduling, go to www.usmle.org .

If you have any questions, reply to this email or call the Registration Department at 215-590-9700.

Is this what they are talking about or is there something else?

Do you have a print out of the confirmation given to you by Prometric when you scheduled the exam? I think that's what they're talking about. All I brought for CK was my printed scheduling permit and my Prometric confirmation, and they barely looked at those as it was 🙂 For CS, I plan on doing the same.
