I was reading the First Aid book for Step 2 CS, and it mentioned something about receiving a CD in the mail after you register for the test which contains an orientation manual and video sample patient encounters. Is this still the case for 2009? I never got this CD in the mail and I registered months ago. Any ideas?

Theres no CD anymore. There is stuff on the USMLE website to look at that I think replaces this.

how old is the first aid book that you read?

It's the current edition...just bought it new from Amazon last month.

But yeah, I see now there's no CD anymore. 😳
