Ok the ECFMG people decided they would like to screw me over and accidently cancelled my confirmed May 13th test date in Philly. Now, Im date less. They fessed its their fault and they made me re-apply and within a day I got approved. Issue - NO test date until 2nd Week of Aug which means my score wont be out until Oct10-Nov 5....I am apply for IM in 2015. How badly is this going to affect my chances of interview/match? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

ECFMG is taking to their people to IT department to see if they can do anything about getting me a test date so my results come out before the applications for NRMP goes out.

This shouldn't affect you at all actually. Residency programs know you may not have CS done by the time you interview. When in doubt, give them a call and let them know the situation that you got screwed over. It also gives you a good excuse to make contact with the program to talk about how you're interested. A score that comes out in October is more than early enough.

This is really bizarre, but I actually rescheduled my step 2 CS for May 13th on the day they cancelled your exam O.O' --also in Philadelphia. There were about four or five empty seats when I took it; so I hope you were able to get your exam done in time.
