Hey guys,

Apologies for creating a new post just for this but I couldn't find the answer to my question on a search. I have Step 2 CS in Los Angeles coming up on Jan 3, and I am currently in Southern California (where my family lives) but I left my White coat and stethoscope on the east coast (where my med school is). Everywhere I look, it says you must bring your own coat and stethoscope. Does anyone know if they provide spares at the test center??

Grab a cheap white coat and steth from a local uniform store today or tomorrow just in case. Good luck.

Took it today in Philly. Yes, they offer a white lab coat and stethoscope during orientation if you need them, but they don't have enough for everyone. I think you'd probably be fine.

If I were you, I'd go down to a scrub store and get a white coat and stethoscope now (hopefully you have a car). They might offer you spares at the testing station, but if they don't have any you're out of luck.

I didn't have my stethoscope, and it was no big deal. They had plenty for everyone - definitely wouldn't worry about buying one. Just get there 30 minutes early if you are worried.
