I’m starting a tutoring/webinar service for the USMLE STEP 2 CS exam. I am a US citizen, recent MD graduate, IMG from a reputable top Caribbean medical school. I am currently applying for residency. I failed the CIS portion of STEP 2 CS on my first attempt and passed with high marks on my second attempt 2 weeks later. From my experience, I know exactly what it takes to pass the exam. The skills and tips I would offer would basically guarantee a pass. I know where I went wrong on the first exam and I improved in these areas resulting in a passing score. To all who have failed don’t be discouraged I was lucky enough to be granted a few interviews while waiting on my passing score.
The course outline will be simple. I will go over high yield cases using the resources I used to prepare for the exam in addition to the material that I have put together. I would like this to be a rapid review course something that can be completed in a week or shorter. I will review the patient notes and offer feedback to give you the tools needed to prepare on your own to be successful. When done you will be prepared to pass the ICE and the CIS section.
