I figure I'm gonna take the CK for sure after a few weeks into senior year... but what about the CS? Do residencies generally care if you've taken that during the application process or is this something I can schedule later in the year like closer to winter time? I understand that I just need to pass it... but I'm confused as to whether this is something that needs to be a priority.

Also, big question: can I do the CS reasonably well without having taken Neuro? I'm debating scheduling the CS and CK before taking Neuro.

I'm just stressing out because I'm trying to figure out my senior schedule.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, FMGs need a passing CS score back in time to apply

Depends. If you are a US senior, CS hardly matters. I'm happily matched, and I still haven't received my CS grade. Heck, I have classmates who haven't even taken CS yet. However, I do think most residencies require you to pass it before starting PGY-1 year.

If you are an FMG then I have no idea...

+1. It will be easier if you've done neuro but if you practice the neuro exam a few times you'll be fine without having had that block.
