Will a lower step 2 score adversely affect a candidate greatly during match process if its lower than step1 score? e.g. step1: 235 step2: 225

I don't think so. If u got a 235 step 1 and 195 on step 2 then yes it does raise a concern but that usually doesnt happen. A difference that small shouldn't be a prob.

What about something like Step 1: 220, Step 2: 205?

Step 1 227, Step 2 218 . . . Does it mean anything for me? I'm obviously very disappointed in myself and totally didn't see a drop in score coming but how upset/worried should I be?

For me USMLE step-1 score is 231 and step-2CK score is 203. I am worried about this fall. How will it affect my residency application, anybody please respond.
I also had a problem with my step-2cs the first time ,but cleared it the next time.
I am now an ECFMG certified IMG.
Is there anybody who can give some advice.
Thanks
