Hello,
I'm applying to an early match specialty, was hoping to take Step 2 CK late to just go with my Step 1 scores, which I am happy with. However, because of some elective scheduling issues and my school's requirement for when Step 2 must be taken, it looks like I will have to take Step 2 relatively early (August). Is there any kind of "no release" option? If so, do programs see that a person has chosen this option and frown on applicants not disclosing their scores? If such an option exists, does the applicant know what his or her scores are even if not released to programs?
I've read a number of threads on this issue but haven't seen these questions addressed specifically.
