I was wondering if you any of you had applied for step 3 yet. How long does it take from when you submit your application until it is processed? At the FSMB site, it says that your 3 month eligibility begins as soon as your application is processed. I want to take it in either March or May so I wanted my 90 days to include both months. Is it too early to apply now? Thanks for any help!

It took me about 3 weeks to get my permit from the time I applied. If you want to take it in March I would apply sometime in mid-February.

If u apply online, and submit the notarized document promptly enough, you will have the orange permit in your hands by 2 weeks. And the 90 days starts immediately.

Yeah, its definitely too early to apply now if you want to take them in March to May 2005. I would advise you to apply in Feb, 2005.
