When do most people take Step 3?

When is the earliest an individual can sit for Step 3?

What is step 3 like, anyway? Is it similar to step 2? Is step 3 simply a pass/fail situation, or are the scores used for anything?

it is similar to step 2 but there is alot more questions on management of diseases, and chronic conditions. You do get scores for step 3 but I dont think that they r used for evaluating you for residency. As long as u pass 🙂
