Hi everyone! I wanted to gauge my score on initial diagnostic CBSE. I ended up getting a 62 and told that I had an 88% chance to pass within the week. I wanted to know is that a good score for a diagnostic exam?

Honestly it's not great but don't get too horribly nervous. Lots of people do much worse than that before they start dedicated.

I don't know what your timeline is but just do pathoma and sketchy and UWorld and you're basically guaranteed to pass. If you don't have time stick to UWorld and anki off your incorrects, you're already in an OK spot. But I wouldn't take it tomorrow, I'd try to get in the 94-96% range of passing within the week.

99% is obviously best but I don't think I was that high back in the day

You're OK. Buckle down for 6 weeks and get in as much UWorld as you can. Supplement with a pathoma or sketchy video for stuff you just have a hard time with. But you aren't screwed or anything.

Work hard though.

Oh and of course, if you have some kind of academic support person at your school, reach out to them. My school's person is amazing

So I recently just got a 71 on NBME 29. How we looking? Test day is 4/14
Does it give you a % chance of passing?

I think my scores were lower than that back when I went ahead and sat for the exam. But do as well as you can, keep reviewing. But I think you’re looking good personally

Thank you guys for the advice! I am just going to do the Melhman overview deck that covers his pdfs. Do you guys know if this is a good resource?

Hey there so I take my last NBME tomorrow. The last one I took was NBME 28 and I got a 73% which gave my a 99% chance to pass. I am thinking I am at least some decent going into my last NBME and the Free 120. My question is what do you guys think my shape is for the exam? Also how do you compare the actual exam to the NBMEs? I get a mixed response from my classmates.
