Hi all, I just got my step score back and got a 256.
I honestly have no idea what specialty I want to go into. I'm going into every rotation with an open mind.
However, I have NOT done any hard science research because I'm not really interested in it. I did some in college, but that's about all. I've published a paper in a non-hard science medical journal, presented a few posters and gave a couple of talks, and I've done a fair amount of volunteering / projects with local organizations affiliated with the school the first two years.
As far as the future, do I have to start hard science research during M3 in order to go into certain specialties given my situation? Any thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks.
