Hi, All

I'm using the first edition of Step Up to jumpstart my board studying (I'm too freakin' poor to buy the second edition). Although I've heard Step Up is a good review volume, I've also heard it's FULL of errors. Does anyone know just how full of errors the First edition is? Are they easy things to spot like typos or is it worse? Does anyone know of a web link that describes where the errors in the first edition are? If you have any info on this, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks

No longer have the first edition, so can't answer all of your questions. but the errors that you have heard about are not typos, they are accuracy errors, so you do have to be a bit careful. It is a great book nevertheless.

When I did have first edition, from what I remember, there weren't huge changes from 1st to 2nd edition (it was more that they took the clinical cases out and made a separate book out of it and added stuff, like pharm, in the back), so I think you should be okay. But we spend $250,000 on an education, if a $36 book would help, just buy it is my theory.

i think theres an errata sheet posted on the publishers website. i know there was one for the second edition
