Hey guys,
I've been trying to decide how to best study for Step 2 Comlex. I've gone through Step Up to Step 2, but just came across Step up to Medicine (my IM rotation just started). Of course there are differences in the books, not only but including that Step Up to Step 2 covers subjects not included in the Medicine book. While doing questions in the QBanks, though, (e.g. Comquest/Combank), I've found that Step Up to Step 2 lacks some detail (and even topics within fields) that Step Up to Medicine not only touches upon, but goes into in detail. This has made me kind of nervous in terms of my preparation...

The only way I can think of reconciling this gap of information is to really master the material from Step Up to Step 2, continue doing QBank questions, and use Step Up to Medicine to fill in gaps of knowledge found by doing questions. Though I'm tempted to read Step Up to Medicine from cover-to-cover, a part of me thinks this would be an inefficient use of time especially considering that Step Up to Medicine might go into too much detail (if there is such a thing) & since I've already read Step Up to Step 2 at least once.

Any thoughts or similar concerns/experience with this? I've been racking my brains to think of study strategies that would be most efficient, yet thorough, and this was the best I could come up with. I thought I'd post and see what others have to say. Thanks for any and all input.
