Can anyone vouch for using mainly step up to medicine for acing the surgery shelf? I took internal a while ago, and have tried reading nms cases & nms surgery essentials but I've returned back to step up to medicine because I like the clear cut and organized way step up outlines pathophys, diagnosis & treatment of each disease. Or do you think step up to medicine does not have enough "surgery" in it for the shelf?

Pestana videos + UWorld Qbank + GI/Lytes/Fluids sections of SUTM + NMS Casebook (if you want to be thorough)

I would absolutely not recommend reading the entirety of SUTM for the Surgery shelf, ESPECIALLY if you've already had your medicine rotation.

I used SUTM GI Chapter, Pestana Case Notes, and the Fluid/Electrolytes/Intro stuff out of NMS. Passed the shelf with ease.
