So I'm starting IM and heard Step up is the way to go. Is there a significant difference between 2005 and 2008 versions?

My friend is willing to lend me her 2005 version, most people seem to be buying the 2008. Is it worth it to buy it, or should I cheap out and borrow the older book?

My mentality is generally that I'm already paying 200k+ to attend medical school, why would I shortchange myself on a several year-old version of a book? especially in something like IM that is at the core of so many disciplines.. even if they're not that different, I think it would be worth the peace of mind and savior of any possible headache (for whatever currently unknown reason).. cheap out on things like old Case Files on less important rotations if you want to save some cash, imho..
