I am an IMG.I thought i prepared well for my step 1 but my best was not good enough.
I flunk the exam.
I am so depressed.I am totally blank at this moment.I dont know what to do.I dont want to give up but am too scared to even try!
After i gave step1 i had started studying for step2..shall i continue with that?or shall i start for step1?Is it even worth studying again?
Have you guys heard or seen anyone who made into residency after failing once in step 1?
I really need help!

If you don't pass step 1 why even take step 2? You have to pass step 1 to even have a chance at a residency.

I think you should try step 1 again. If you don't pass, you may want to give up. If you do, proceed with step 2, consider taking step 3 and apply very broadly.

Forget step 2 for now. Take a prep course and retake step 1. While it puts you at a disadvantage to have failed it once, its not the end of the world yet.
Yes i do know someone who failed step 1 twice and passed with a 224 the third time and scrambled into an internal med spot in the deep south after he didnt match and is now 1 year away from finishing residency.

Yeah, i;m in the south too but i'm talking about rural south.
Lets just say this guy was the only American born intern in his program when he started so it wasnt exactly on a bunch of match lists.
