Hi ppl !
can anyone tell me a site or a link where i can read the steps in gold prep for molar ? need it for UTHSCSA bench exam ...

I got accepted at UTHSCSA this year and I am going to study there. In my opinion, you need to read the steps carefully and practice and check if you follow the steps, you do not need to read anything else, do not search for extra info. Practice and practice...Good luck, hope to see you in class 2010

I agree, they give detailed explanations.. You will do fine if you follow them
they provide burs for the preps.
however I recommend taking finishing burs..
they do not provide finishing burs, only diamond with finer granulation.
With the finishing burs the prep looks very good and you can make the finishing line super defined

I did that in all the schools, except at UOP where they did not allow extra burs..
In this case you can use the hatchet number 15 to refine the surface of the prep making it as smooth as possible.

Note that refining the surface is different from polishing ( do not use any type of polishing disks). It is good to make the surface as smooth as possible, but not shiny 😉
