i wear small in the canal hearing aids and a normal stethoscope cant be used b/c the ear canal is already occupied obviously.

anyone know more about this topic or can direct me to someone who does? thanks

Have you researched amplified Stethoscopes? I think some people just take out their hearing aids and use one of those.

have you checked out google? I typed "stethoscope with hearing aids" into google and got a bunch of hits.

Takng them in and out a somethn I'm trying to avoid at all costs. And yes I have looked on google bit there are so many models with varying pitches and styles and the fact that you can't try before you buy makes it a challenge

Do you have a regular doctor? Maybe they'd know of a good stethoscope company that has a lot of options (for people with hearing aids and otherwise). I mean, they've been in the business a lot longer than a bunch of pre-meds or med students, so it could be worth a try.

I believe somewhere, at some time, I found something that looks like a set of headphones that you put the tips of the stethoscope into. The headphones then go around your ears. I'll take a look, if I find them I'll PM a link or something.
