Hello... i was wondering if any of you are still applying to schools this late in the cycle?

I think the majority of people are waiting until next cycle (at least that would be the wise thing to do). Many deadlines have already passed and it's only 2-3 more months until most schools end their interviewing process. If someone applies now, they have to wait for 3 weeks for AADSAS to process their application, which doesn't leave much time for schools to view their application.

If you're planning on applying, I'd definitely just wait until next cycle.

Thank you for replying. I know it is very late in the cycle but i took my chances and applied to a few schools. Now that i am reading thru threads, i am regretting it. if i don't receive any interviews i would just have to wait for next cycle. 🙁 Either way, Congrats on your acceptance!!

If you already applied, more power to you, i just wouldn't get your hopes up. The most important thing you can do right now is prepare your application for next cycle so you can submit it the first day it opens. It is nice that you applied this year, in a sense that you will be a re-applicant next year, which some schools look favorably on and AADSAS saves most of your info so you don't have to enter it again. Really? i always assumed it looked bad if you are a second time applicant. I would believe the admissions officers would wonder why i didn't get accepted the first time around. BTW, do you think would i need to write a new personal statement? or just perfect the one i have?

I applied to the biomedical science program at Barry and start this upcoming Wednesday. I hope this program furthers my chances of getting accepted next cycle.
