Still have not heard from these schools...Should I assume rejection?

All of these schools say they have my complete application, but I have not had an interview invite or a rejection. Since its already the end of January and I have not even been invited for an interview, should i just assume they are going to reject me? BTW, I submitted in early August, so they have had it for a while...

I don't know about Kentucky, but those other schools are still trying to fill their class. Chill out, it's only January, you have 4 more months to hear back.

just got an email from NYU asking me to send them additional information. They said my application is 'strong but due to the high number of applicants, they have not made a decision.'

yeah i got the same thing today too. but i think they just send that out to everyone that they didnt straightout want to reject. 🙁

What kind of additional information are they talking about? Something like the academic update?

btw, nyu is still blank for me. nothing whatsoever...

Kentucky let me know the day they received my application that their interviews were full (18 Dec 08).

Columbia (NY) ---> YOU WILL HEAR SOON BEFORE CHRISTMAS --> NO DECISION MADE YET

Western (CA) --> NOTHING!


So, I think.....

1) Your chances to get in at this point is slimmer than before, but there is still hope!

2) You will hear the outcome of your interview by MARCH FOR SURE!
