Does anyone know whether some schools even send out rejection letters (namely Harvard, Hopkins, Baylor, Duke, Wash U, and Yale)? I have been complete at all of these schools since late August and have not heard anything post-secondary from 6 of the 15 schools I applied to. I was just wondering if maybe they don't tell you anything until like March, or if they don't send anything at all. Has anyone gotten rejection letters from any of these schools, or know if they even send them? At least one school has had the decency to send me a rejection letter and give me some closure. I have had 8 interviews, ranging in quality from OSU to Michigan (4 acceptances and a waitlist so far, 3 pending). So I'm curious if I still have a chance of hearing from these other schools or if I'm in some "hold" or "reject" category, but haven't been notified. Anyone else had a similar experience?
Note: I know I am very lucky to have gotten acceptances so far, and I am grateful for that. The point of this thread is to determine whether I should still hold out hope for the remaining schools, or just give up on them and have some closure to this long process. Thanks!
