My application was sent on 9/22, and have not heard from the school yet.
I submitted seperate letters from professors and a dentist I shadowed for, totaling 4.
(it was not a committee letter)
I guess I did not get an invitation yet because of the letters and I applied too late,
But I did not know that Stony brook does not offer post-dec interview.
OMG.
GPA (science, overall): 3.89, 3.84
DAT (AA/TS/PAT/any section below a 17): 23/23/21/no

They gave post-dec interviews in other cycles....I think they will again, especially since their first interview date wasn't until Oct. 12th.. Before you start worrying call Patricia Berry at 631-632-3745 and ask.
They give a handful of post dec interviews up until february and march so do not worry. I contacted the director of admissions yesterday about this very thing.
they are most definitely not done with pre-dec! I just got mine last week! I had pretty much given up on them but THEN I FOUND OUT! stay strong keep being patient everybody!
Stony Brook is a great school. I had my interview late in October. I would assume that pre-dec interviews will not be done until the week prior to december lol. Again only my assumption but I know they did not start interviews until late sept. early oct. best of luck. If your worried give Patricia Berry a call, She is very nice, and will tell you the status of interviews.
Thanks Jennifer, your stats are fabulous as well. Definitely, call that number. I did when I read the post and an hour later I got a phone call to schedule an interview. I feel like my application was lost in the pile. GL
